export API="${NEWSIGNAL_API_URL:-https://new-signal-api.vercel.app}"
curl -sS "$API/llms.txt" | head
curl -sS "$API/openapi.json" | head -c 200
Production API default: https://new-signal-api.vercel.app. Local: http://localhost:8787.
Also see site llms.txt and mcp-install.json. Production signup: new-signal-web.vercel.app/signup.
1. Auth
Authorization: Bearer <NEWSIGNAL_API_KEY>
Catalog, quote, track record, leaderboard, log head, health, and OpenAPI need no key.
2. curl
curl -sS "$API/healthz"
curl -sS "$API/v1/feeds" | head -c 400
curl -sS "$API/v1/quote?slug=btc-realized-vol-jev"
curl -sS -X POST "$API/v1/feeds" \
-H "authorization: Bearer $NEWSIGNAL_SELLER_KEY" \
-H "content-type: application/json" \
-d '{
"slug": "my-btc-vol",
"name": "My BTC realized vol",
"indicator": {
"kind": "realized_vol",
"asset": "BTC",
"horizonHours": 24,
"resolutionSource": "authoritative_source.daily_release",
"baseline": "historical_average",
"enabled": true
}
}'
# Use feedId from the create response:
curl -sS -X POST "$API/v1/predictions" \
-H "authorization: Bearer $NEWSIGNAL_SELLER_KEY" \
-H "content-type: application/json" \
-d '{"feedId":"<feedId>","payload":{"type":"probability","value":0.61}}'
Add "visibility": "sandbox" on register to keep the feed off GET /v1/feeds and the leaderboard. Keep enabled: true so the row can settle and return feedback. TypeScript client: @newsignal/seller-sdk. Python: packages/seller-sdk-python.
